 Amelia Furman was born in LaMarada, CA in 1981. She moved with her family to Mt. Pleasant Mills, Central PA, in 1986. Amelia graduated from Middleburg High school in 1999 as the class valedictorian and headed to Indiana to resume her education at Indiana Wesleyan University for the next four years, graduating in 2003 with a Bacholor's Degree in Painting, Illustration and Printmaking. She maintained a 4.0 GPA during these four years and shared her valedictorian honors with just one other graduate. Upon graduation, Amelia returned to PA and moved to Philadelphia to be closer to her high school sweetheart, Timothy Furman, and prepare for their June wedding. Amelia now lives with her husband in Swarthmore, PA where she works on personal commissions and independent paintings and illustrations. She has exhibited her work throughout the central Pennsylvania area and continues to participate in temporary exhibitions. Amelia's work can be viewed at www.creativehotlist.com/a-furman2.
