About the Holy City Chronicle
OUR VISION
Our vision is to be a vehicle through which churches and individual Christians in the Tri-county area can communicate and network with one another. Our motivating Scripture, John 17:20-23, expresses the need for unity so that the world will believe that God sent Jesus to redeem us from our sins. We also desire to encourage our readers with articles of interest and keep them informed about local, national, and international news that affects the Body of Christ––being a voice to mobilize God’s forces in order to reach the world with the message of the gospel and see revival in this generation.
In the past, The Holy City Chronicle has been a FREE monthly newspaper with a distribution of 20,000, bulk dropped to over 170 local churches and many local businesses, as well as mailed throughout the U.S. The funds from advertising and supporters have been insufficient for us to be able to continue a printed publication at this time, so The Holy City Chronicle is now published entirely online.
We feature columns and articles on Local News, Local Church Spotlights, Missions, the Persecuted Church, Testimonies, Education, Parenting, Culture and our Faith, Entertainment such as Book and Music Reviews, pages for College Students, Teens, and Kids, Messages from local Pastors, a Spanish Page, as well as other columns of interest.
We at The Holy City Chronicle want the Body of Christ to know that this ministry is your ministry. With that said, we would love to receive feedback and any suggestions that you may have as you use the site.
STATEMENT OF BELIEF
We believe that there are certain basic doctrines of Christianity that should be uniform among all believers. “On all other doctrines there should be liberty,” as once was stated by a great missionary. We accept and will protect the right of all Christians to hold differing viewpoints on non-essential doctrines.
